Co-curated by Rebecca Duclos and Lauren Fensterstock, Magnify was an exhibition for the Institute for Contemporary Art (Maine College of Art) that drew upon ideas of exaltation, amplification, augmentation, and excess to bring together works of artists who exaggerate or heighten the qualities of materials, events, and ideas. Digging deep into the smallest of details or making the grandest of gestures, the works in the exhibition framed culture and history through lenses that were alternatively absurd and sublime.
